Hinoki Cypress + Onsen

I created this scent chasing a very specific feeling.

The kind of morning where mist hangs low between the cypress trees and the onsen water is so warm it steams in the cold air around you. Where the forest smells like pine resin and damp earth and something ancient and completely alive. Where your whole body exhales.

I blended four fragrance oils to get there — and when I finally did, I knew immediately. This was it.

Bergamot and hinoki pine lead with a bright, resinous forest clarity. Sea salt opens the lungs with the clean mineral breath of the water. Lavender and peony soften everything into a serene, almost meditative stillness, with cedar grounding the heart warmly. The base is pure forest floor: cedarwood, juniper, and marine musk settling into something deep, ancient, and quietly alive.

Green aventurine crystals carry the restorative energy of the natural world, inviting vitality and a profound connection to the earth beneath you. Citrine glows with warmth and clarity, like the first light of a Japanese morning finding its way through the mist.
