James and I created this blend together while we were living in Astoria, and it might be the most personal candle we make.

If you've ever been, you know Astoria has a feeling all its own. The fog on the Columbia, the Victorian houses climbing the hillside, the sense that adventure is hiding around every corner. To us, it always felt like stepping into the 1980s, the era when this little town became the backdrop for some of the most beloved adventure films ever made. We wanted to bottle that exact feeling: foggy, nostalgic, and quietly magical.

Bergamot, lemon peel, and a hint of cinnamon open the pour, bright and full of spirit. Oakmoss, cedar, and sweet berry carry the heart — green, misty, and warm with nostalgia. Amber, dark musk, and vetiver ground the base in something deep and moody, like evening fog settling over the rooftops.

We infuse every candle with black obsidian and clear quartz. Obsidian grounds and protects — steady as the town itself — while clear quartz, the master healer, brings clarity and amplifies every good intention in the room.
